Five-year-old girl crushed to death

Ghaziabad, Sep 22 (UNI) A five-year-old girl returning from school was crushed to death when a tractor rammed her under Indirapuram police station area in the district early this morning.

According to police sources, Kemal Singh daughter, a resident of Nyaykhand I, was returning from the school with her mother when a speeding tractor coming from behind rammed her.

She was rushed to a nearest private hospital in critical condition where she succumbed to her injuries.

Agitated over the death of the girl, local people blocked traffic and also damaged the tractor along with some other vehicles.

Later on after the intervention of the police, they were pacified and traffic returned to normal.

The body has been sent for postmortem, police added.
