CPI(M) leader murdered in Bengal
Bolpur, Sep 22 (UNI) A zonal committee leader of the CPI(M) was murdered by miscreants at Rajnagar in West Bengal's Birbhum district today.
Police said three unknown persons came by motorcycle when the deceased, Nandadulal Mistri, a teacher by profession, was on his way to school and slit open his throat with a dagger.
Mr Mistri, a resident of Natungram under Rajbhaban police station, died on the spot and the assailants fled after committing the crime, police added.
Hinting that Maoists were involved in the murder, police said a manhunt had been launched to nab the miscreants.
