Centre approves stamp of B N Reddy

Hyderabad, Sep 22 (UNI) The Centre has approved the proposal to release a postage stamp in the memory doyen of Telugu film industry late B N Reddy.

In a letter addressed to the Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Y S Rajasekhara Reddy, Prime Minister Dr Manmohan Singh said the Centre wold bring out the stamp as per the state govrnment's appeal.

''I am happy to inform you that the Centre has approved the proposal to release a postage stamp in memory of late B N Reddy in 2008,'' an official release said here today.
