BJP Sankalpa yatra from Sep 28

Tirupati, Sep 21 (UNI) Demanding measures for the all-round development of the Rayalaseema region, the BJP will organise an eleven-day Rayalaseema Abhiyruddhiki BJP Sankalpa Yatra from September 28 in the temple town, according to state party leader Chilakam Ramachandra Reddy.

He said the yatra will be flagged off by senior party leader M Venkaiah Naidu and will conclude with a public meeting at Srikalahasti on October 8.

The yatra was aimed at mobilising people's support for the charter of 13-demands for the development of the backward Rayalaseema region, he said and demanded the government allot Rs 50,000 crore for development of the region.

As part of Vijaya Sankalp Yatra' at Hyderabad, senior BJP leader L K Advani will visit Andhra Pradesh next month and hold a public meeting on October 25 , he added.
