Two Hurriyat activists detained under PSA in Rajouri
Jammu, Sep 21 (UNI) Two local activists of the Hurriyat Conference were detained by the Jammu and Kashmir administration here under the Public Safety Act (PSA) for supporting anti-national activities in Rajouri district, sources today said.
The youth were arrested late last night for their alleged involvement in anti-national activities like promoting anti-national sentiments and creating a wedge among the people in the name of religion.
''Both of them were detained under the PSA in order to maintain law and order in the area and were identified as Ghulam Ahmed Mir and Zaffar Khurshid Mirza, both residents of Thanamandi area in Rajouri district,'' sources told UNI.
Meanwhile, they have been shifted to Jammu this morning under tight security cover, sources asserted.
