PM writes to Gilani, condemns Islamabad blast
New Delhi, Sep 21 (UNI) Prime Minister Manmohan Singh today wrote to his Pakistani counterpart Yousuf Raza Gilani, condemning the Marriot Hotel blast in Islamabad, saying the destructive forces responsible for such attacks threatened the ''peace, stability and development of each of us'' and should be brought to justice.
''Such attacks are a grim reminder of the challenges we face from destructive forces which have pitted themselves against the values of democracy and pluralism and the voices of moderation.
''They threaten the peace, stability and development of each of us individually and all of us collectively,'' Dr Singh wrote, expressing deep shock and sorrow over yesterday's attack.
''We must not allow such forces to succeed. They must be dealt with and brought to justice,'' he added.
