Digamber Kamat launches E-Library for Bar Council
Panaji, Sep 21: Goa Chief Minister Digamber Kamat launched the E-library at the Bombay High Court Goa Bench Complex here.
Speaking at the function , Mr Kamat congratulated Bar Council of Maharashtra and Goa for its initiative to start the E- Library and said the government has taken several initiatives to develop IT sector in the state with a focus on common man.
Bombay High Court judge Justice Satyaranjan Dharmadhikari said lawyers are well equipped with E-library and they should now take efforts to assist Judges and litigants. India has one of the largest judicial system which is being observed by other countries, he added.
Advocate Rajiv Patil, chairman of Bar Council of Maharashtra and Goa said the need the hour is to equip our judicial system with latest knowledge and technology.
