Duplicate CDs worth Rs 12 lakhs seized, three arrested
Bangalore, Sept 21 (UNI) Police have seized duplicate CDs of various films worth over Rs 12 lakhs and three persons were arrested for selling them in violation of Copyright Act.
Police said that on getting definite information raids were conducted on three shops and seized CDs of English, Hindi, Tamil and Telugu films worth over Rs 12,26,900 and cash Rs 500 and arrested V Somasekhar, J Keshav and Prasanna in this connection.
Cases were booked against the accused under Copyright Act 1957.
