UBI contributes Rs 1.25 crore to Bihar flood relief
Mumbai, Sep 20 (UNI) The Union Bank of India today announced a contribution of Rs 1.25 crore to the Chief Minister's Relief Fund for victims of the devastating floods in Bihar.
The Bank in a release here said, while the Board of Directors approved a donation of Rs 25 lakh, the Bank employees, responding to the appeal from the CMD pledged donation of a day's salary amounting to Rs one crore.
Union Bank of India has 61 branches in the State of Bihar and has actively participated in the economic and commercial growth of the State, the release said.
