MP: Tiger dies in Van Vihar National Park

Bhopal, Sep 20: A roughly 19-year-old tiger died at the Van Vihar National Park here.

Badal, the tiger, died yesterday at about 0900 hrs, an official release said.

The carnivore was brought to Van Vihar Rescue Centre from Raj Mahal Circus on October 22, 2006. The tiger was past its normal age and ailing for the past one year.

Post-mortem established senility as the cause of death, the release added.
