Stars celebrate Israel's 60th anniversary

London, September 20 : Seal, Warren Beatty, Annette Bening and Serena Williams gathered to raise glasses with Israeli-born movie producer, Arnon Milchan to celebrate the 60th anniversary of Israel.

The producer of many successful movies including 'Pretty Woman' and 'L.A. Confidential', Milchan had hosted the occasion and invited his celebrity buddies on July 18 to celebrate the triumph of an independent Israel.

The star-studded gathering, held at Paramount Studios in L.A, also honoured Milchan with a lifetime achievement award on behalf of 'Citizens' Empowerment Center', an Israeli pro-democracy group.

Tennis idol, Serena Williams, whose Puma deal was backed by Milchan, expressed her gratitude on stage.

"He was one of the people who always believed in me," the Daily Express quoted her as saying.
