NGO files complaint with JMFC against Education Minister
Panaji, Sep 20 (UNI) Goan NGO Utt Goenkara spokesman Adv Aires Rodrigues today filed a criminal complaint with the Judicial Magistrate First Class (JMFC) Panaji, against Goa Education Minister Atanasio Monseratte for having allegedly filed a false affidavit stating that he had passed the Secondary School Certificate (SSC) examination and declared to the Goa Legislative Secretariat that he had passed S Y BA.
The JMFC would hear the complaint on September 22.
According to Advocate Rodrigues, Mr Monseratte had filed a false affidavit stating that he has passed the SSC examination from St Theresa's High School, Bandra, Mumbai, when he had passed only class seven.
The spokesman had requested that Panaji Police be directed to expeditiously investigate into the matter.
