Militants kill SPO in Reasi

Jammu, Sep 20 (UNI) A Special Police Officer (SPO) was killed by the militants in Reasi district of Jammu and Kashmir, official sources said here today.

''SPO identified as Ghulam Mohiudin, resident of village Shabrass in tehsil Mahore of Reasi district and posted at Balwant Kote was kidnapped few days back from his residence by two militants,'' sources told UNI.

Meanwhile, dead body of SPO was recovered from Kashi Nallah last evening and was handed over to the family.

The militants, who kidnapped the SPO, have been identified as Ahmad Din alias Khalid and Mohd Farooq alias Ishfaq, sources added.
