CM Khanduri condoles Sharma's death

Dehra Dun, Sep 20 (UNI) Uttarakhand Chief Minister B C Khanduri today condoled the demise of Inspector Mohan Chand Sharma describing him as a hero who had laid down his life defending the country's security.

In his condolence message, Khanduri said the country had lost a brave officer who belonged to Uttarakhand and people should never forget his exemplary courage.

He announced compensation of Rs 5 lakh to the family of the officer and prayed for the departed soul to rest in peace.
