BJP says UPA govt failed in controlling terrorism
Jaunpur, Sep 20 (UNI) Senior BJP leader and former union home minister for state Swami Chinmayananad charged the Congress-led UPA government at the Centre with failure in curbing terrorist activities in the country.
Talkig to mediapersons here today, he said had the Centre swung in action after the attack on senior BJP leader Yogi Adityanath in Azamgarh, the Delhi blast would been averted.
He said abolition of POTA had boosted terrorists morale, thus equally stringent law should be implemented not only against the terrorists but also on those who provide shelter to them.
Making scathing attack on the government, he further said the federal agency of which the Centre is talking about would prove fruitful only after the people backing the terrorists outfits would be tackled.
