Unusual goggles can get you banned from swimming pools!

London, September 19 : A leisure centre in Swiss Cottage, northwest London, has banned a swimmer from its pool because of his unusual goggles.

Sexagenarian Roland Grimm is just not happy with the decision.

He claims that he has used the same goggles for about four decades, and never felt they were unsafe.

"I'm very upset because it seems mad. I've used these goggles in more than 100 pools and no one else has ever complained. After you've been swimming for 40 years all over the world you know what works best for you and what's safe," Times Online quoted sexagenarian Roland Grimm as said.

Gary Dark, the manager of the leisure centre, said that the goggles were a health and safety risk because the glass was not shatter-proof and the nosepiece could cause breathing difficulties.
