Police station in north Kashmir attacked

Srinagar, Sep 19: A police station in the frontier district of Kupwara was attacked with a hand grenade this on Friday, Sep 19 official sources said.

They said militants hurled a hand grenade towards the heavily guarded police station and immediately after Friday prayers were over.

However, it missed the intended target and exploded at a distance without causing any damage.

Security around the police station was further tightened, they said.
