Police arrest three armed criminals in Bihar

Gopalganj, Sep 19 (UNI) Bihar police today arrested three armed criminals from Baghouni Binde Toli of Siwan district.

District Superintendent of Police Amrit Raj said acting on a tip off a team of police sleuths raided the hideout of the miscreants and arrested them.

Police recovered a number of firearms, including revolver and country-made pistols with live cartridges from their possession.

An amount of Rs 83,000 was also seized from the miscreants.

A few days back the arrested miscreants had killed one Vinod Tiwari near Marwari mahalla under Town police station of Gopalganj district and looted Rs three lakh from the victim, Mr Raj added.

An FIR had been lodged in this regard.

Police nabbed the miscreants on the basis of this charge.
