Jammu girl qualifies for 3rd round of Boogie-Woogie
Jammu, Sep 19 (UNI) A Jammu-based eleven-year old girl has qualified for the third round of dance item show 'Kids Championship 2008' in Boogie-Woogie, a home production of Sony Entertainment Television.
''Sixth standard girl, Samantha has entered the third round of the Boogie-Woogie show and she is working hard for the coming rounds,'' a handout issued here today said.
Samantha got direct entry into the show after she qualified the audition tests in Delhi and Ludhiana.
Hundreds of participants from across the country took part in the audition test out of which 43 were finalised for the Boogie-Woogie show including Samantha and Adhar Koul, also from Jammu.
Samantha however, paid credits to her guru Shashi Gupta under whose guidance she was being trained for the last two years.
Meanwhile her trainer has expressed faith in Samantha and hoped that she would bring laurels to the state with her upcoming talent, a handout said.
