Expelled BJP MP to be felicitated by CM

Mumbai, Sep 19 (UNI) Expelled BJP MP Haribhau Rathod will be felicitated by Maharashtra chief minister Vilaserao Deshmukh on October 4 at Pohradevi in Washim district.

In a release here, Mr Rathod said apart from Mr Deshmukh, former chief minister of Jammu and Kashmir Ghulam Nabi Azad, chairman of the VJNT commission Maxmanrao Patni, Maharashtra Pradesh Congress Committee president Manikrao Thakre and chairman of the All India Banjara Seva Samaj Chandram Chavan will be present on the occasion.

Mr Azad had twice represented Washim constituency in 1980s.

Currently, Bhavana Gawli is the Shiv Sena MP from Washim constituency, while Mr Rathod is vying for Congress candidature from the same constituency.
