Wipro's SOA solutions lab on Second Life

Bangalore, Sep 18: Wipro Technologies announced the inauguration of its SOA Solutions Lab on Second Life, one of the internet's most populous virtual worlds. The lab was inaugurated by Srinivasa Parthasarathy, Vice President, Multi-Line Applications and Global Chief Architect, Group IT Strategy and Architecture of Farmers Insurance.

Wipro is the first Indian company to leverage new age stakeholder engagement models to connect with its clients and infuse innovation through an established presence in the virtual world. The SOA solutions lab presents clients an opportunity to explore the impact of SOA in transforming their organizations to be more agile and enable business transformation.

Speaking on the occasion Parthasarathy said, "We see SOA as a key technology for turning IT into a strategic advantage for our business.
