Stock broker, family commit suicide in Saidabad

Hyderabad, Sep 18: Shocked at the tumbling stock market, a stock broker and his family allegedly committed suicide at his house at Saidabad, near here, on Thursday, Sep 18.

Police said P Upendra, his wife Swathi and the couple's son Sai set themselves ablaze in their bedroom.

The wooden furniture and cot were completely destroyed in the fire.

Losses in the stock market was said to be the reason for the family to take the extreme step, police said.
