Politicians of today lack love for nation: Ramdev
Kanpur, Sep 18 (UNI) Making a scalding assault on the present breed of political leaders, yoga guru Baba Ramdev charged the top politicians with lacking love for the country.
Addressing a gathering during Yoga camp at Brijendra Swroop Park here this morning, Baba Ramdev said most of the politicians, who are in power at present, do not have 'love for the country'.
He further said though the politicians are increasing in number but the feeling and spirit of patriotism is dieing.
However, people who have invincible love for the nation should take part in active politics, he stressed.
Expressing his anguish, the yoga Guru said, ''our country does not require such corrupt and nondignified leaders.'' Quoting instances of patriotism, he said Japan is the best example and their love for their nation could be seen in their work.
Had it been any other country, establishing it's identity after the US nuclear attack on Hiroshima would have been difficult, but the Japanies, with their undeterred courage fought against all the odds and is today recognised as a developed nation, he asserted.
