Daniel Craig wanted to be a stuntman as a kid

London, September 18 : Daniel Craig has confessed that he preferred injuring himself during the shoot of 'Quantum of Solace' - because as a child he wanted to be a strong stuntman.

The English star has been injured several times while performing his own stunts on the sets of the forthcoming 007 movie.

The second-time Bond had been hospitalized in June after suffering from injuries during the shoot in South America, and is recently healing a bruised eye and a fractured arm.

But his injuries have not stopped the actor from living his childhood dreams.

"I'm pushing myself as hard as I can. I've had black eyes, cuts, bruises. I even injured my Achilles," the Daily Express quoted Craig as saying.

"Jumping from great heights hurts a lot, but I did that quite often."

"As a kid, I actually wanted to be a stuntman because I liked falling off my bike. I was always bleeding," he added.
