Admission on for ICSI's CS foundation programme

New Delhi, Sep 18 (UNI) Admission is on for the Company Secretaries (CS) Foundation Programme of the Institute of Company Secretaries of India (ICSI).

Class 10+2 pass students, seeking admission till September 30, will be eligible for examination in June 2009. Students of any discipline (excluding Fine Arts) can pursue the CS Foundation Programme.

To help students, ICSI has set up a 24 hour helpline on 011-41504444. Prospectus and application forms are available on payment of Rs 200 in cash at C 37, Sector 62, Noida, UP or from ICSI-NIRC building, Plot No 4, Prasad Nagar Institutional Area, Rajendra Place, New Delhi.

The prospectus can be had by registered post by sending a demand draft or postal order for Rs 250 to any of the 73 offices of ICSI spread all over India. For details students may log on to: www.icsi.edu ICSI is a premier national professional distance education body, established by an Act of Parliament (Company Secretaries Act, 1980) and imparts compulsory postal tuition (by correspondence) along with provision for optional oral coaching classes. Admission to the CS course is open throughout the year. After qualifying the Executive and Professional Examination, students are required to undergo practical and modular training to become qualified Company Secretaries.
