Soumya Reddy's cousin found dead in Chicago

Hyderabad, Sep 17: Its been just 2 days that Soumya Reddy, a student from Andhra Pradesh, was found murdered near St Louis County Park lake in Chicago. Another terryfying news awaited her family. Soumya cousin's- Vikram Reddy body was discovered from the same lake. This put a strange twist to trhe murder of Soumya Reddy.

According to information reaching here, hours after Soumya's body was found slumped in a car, police found Vikram's body in the Spanish lake, a few yards away from where the car was parked. Like in the case of Soumya, Vikram"s body too bore bullet wounds. He was a native of Nizamabad district. The body of 27-year-old Vikram surfaced about 11:45 am (local time) on Monday, Sep 15. At the time, detectives were searching the area for clues and a team of divers was preparing to check the lake.

Soumya and Vikram lived in different places in Maryville. Soumya's body was found in the passenger seat of a 1995 Ford Taurus registered in Vikram's name. The police are investigating what took the Reddy's to the park and believe that both might have been murdered on Saturday night itself. The investigators are also probing the possibility of one shooting the other and subsequently, committing suicide. While Soumya (22) was an electrical engineering student at Southern Illinois University, Edwardsville; Vikram Reddy was a software engineer. Vikram graduated from the Osmania University and went to the US five years back, family sources said.
