Will Smith reiterates he's no Scientologist

Washington, Sept 17 : Will Smith has once again dismissed rumours that he belongs to the Church of Scientology.

Smith was linked to the celebrity-themed religion after a 2006 report revealing he had donated money to the church's LEAP program (literacy and education awareness project), reports FoxNews.com.

When asked if he had become a Scientologist, Smith answered directly, "I am not."

Talking about the school, which is using one of Scientology's teaching tools, Smith said: "You can take different parts of things you like and put them all together."

Smith also mentioned talking to anti-Scientology group "Anonymous," who claim to have given themselves the name in an attempt to avoid retaliation from Scientologists.

The group later said in a press release, "We appreciate Will's interest in our efforts and his openness in speaking with us directly. It shows his concern both as a parent and educator."
