Six fishermen sustained burn injuries in lightning
Rajkot, Sep 17 (UNI) Six fishermen received burn injuries when a lightning struck them while they were sailing near Rozy port in Jamnagar district.
The incident occurred late night of Monday. The fishermen were belongs to Sachana village in Jodia Taluka of Jamnagar district.
Their boat was heavily damaged. However, they were rescued by another fishing boat which brought them to Jamanagar.
All the injured have been admitted to government hospital, a report from Jamnagar said.
The injured were identified as Shabbir Abbas (25), Kasam Abbas (20), Hanif Jumabhai (25), Shikandar (13), Siddique Vagher (42) and Javed Vagher (18), the report said.
