RBI fixes reference rate at Rs 46.34 per USD
Mumbai, Sep 17 (UNI) The Reserve Bank of India (RBI) today fixed the reference rate for US dollar at Rs 46.34 per unit, down by 29 paise, against yesterday's rate of Rs 46.63 per dollar.
The reference rate for Euro, fell by 67 paise at Rs 65.82 per unit, from yesterday's close of Rs 66.49 per unit, an RBI release stated.
The exchange rates for Pound and Japanese Yen against the Rupee were quoted low at Rs 82.9625 (83.7638) per Pound and Rs 43.69 (44.75) per 100 units of Yen.
