Pak Nat'l Flag burnt by Bajrang Dal
Bhopal, Sep 17 (UNI) Pakistan's National Flag was today burnt here by Bajrang Dal activists who shouted slogans against that country for ''abetting'' terrorism in India.
The activists demonstrated at the gate of the Tatya Tope Nagar Stadium -- the venue of the 2nd All-Stars Athletics Competition -- in protest against participation of Pakistani athletes.
''On one hand Pakistan is sending an athletics team as a goodwill measure while on the other it is sponsoring militant activities in our country. We will not tolerate such double standards and stop the Pakistani athletes from participating in the Competition,'' said Dal leader Devendra Rawat.
Pakistan must stop all ''subversive'' activity in India and if it failed to do so then the Dal would urge the United Nations to declare Pakistan a terrorist state, he warned.
A six-member Pakistan team is expected to take part in the meet that begins tomorrow.
