Old oxen distributed to tribals under govt's scheme

Korba, Chhattisgarh, Sep 17 (UNI) A complaint has been lodged by tribals with the District Collector against the distributoin of old oxen to them in this district of Chhattisgarh.

Tribals from this district told UNI here that they were being pressurised to accept old and unhealthy oxen at a camp organised at Kerakachhaer under the government scheme for distributing free oxen to tribals.

They said there was no use of taking old and unhealthy oxen as they cant' be used for ploughing.
