Mob attack place of worship in Kolar
Kolar, Karnataka, Sep 17 (UNI) A place of worship was attacked by miscreants here early this morning in the continued violence against the institutions of a particular community in the state.
Police said a mob attacked and damaged a statue at a place of worship situated near the old bus-stand in the heart of the town.
Security has been stepped up around the place following the incident.
The situation is tense but under control, police added.
