K-Fed 'desperately' wants Britney back

London, Sept 17 : Kevin Federline has said that he wants to reunite with his "soulmate" Britney Spears.

The pair had split in 2006, but now the 30-year-old dancer has reportedly told the singer he wants her back.

They have two kids together.

"Kevin apologized to Britney for his failings as a husband and said he wanted a fresh start," the Daily Star quoted a source, as saying.

"He confessed she's the love of his life, his soul mate and was sorry things went so wrong with them," the source said.

The turnaround came just three months after the fallen pop princess lost full custody of her sons Sean Preston, three, and two-year-old Jayden James.

According to pals of Britney, a reunion with K-Fed could be the final step in her battle back to normality.

A pal said: "She misses the boys desperately and she still cares for Kevin - he is a great dad.

"She is a loving mum and it finally looks like she has started to grow up. Getting back with Kevin could be a great move."
