Cong blows poll bugle in Vindhya region
Rewa, MP, Sep 17 (UNI) Blowing the assembly poll bugle in Madhya Pradesh's Vindhya region, former Vidhan Sabha speaker Sriniwas Tiwari today claimed that Congress leaders and workers would unitedly enter the electoral arena and nobody could keep the party from victory.
''All Congress leaders are united. My relationship with ex-chief minister (and Congress General Secretary) Digvijay Singh has become more harmonious. The state's leaders will mutually coordinate to contest the hustings scheduled in November,'' he told reporters prior to a 'Vijay Sankalp Parv' and Congress 'Mahasammelan' here to mark his 83rd birthday.
Slamming the state's ruling Bharatiya Janata Party regime for ''failing'' to fulfill promises, the octogenarian added that the public wanted to be liberated from it.
