Aurobindo Pharma gets tentative approval for Abacavir sulfate tablet

New Delhi, Sep 17 (UNI) Drug maker Aurobindo Pharma today said it has received tentative approval from the US Food and Drug Administration (USFDA) to market Abacavir sulfate tablets in the strength of 60 mg.

Abacavir sulfate tablets are used with other antiretroviral drugs in the treatment of HIV infection in adults and children three months of age or older, a company statement said.

Recently, the company received tentative approval from the USFDA to market Efavirenz tablets in the strength of 600 mg.
