Adityanath points out poor security at Gorakhnath temple
Gorakhpur, Sep 17 (UNI) Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) MP and Gorakshpeeth successor Yogi Adityanath, who recently had a narrow escape in an attack upon his cavalcade, today apprehended that the security in the local Gorakhnath temple was not up to the mark.
Denying the tall claims of the state government in regard to the security of the temple, Mr Adityanath said the temple lacks even normal security cover.
The MP said the district administration was not sincere towards making appropriate security arrangements at the temple.
He condemned the recent terror strikes in the country and said the Hindus would no more be mute spectators and would raise their voice against the evil.
Mr Adityanath held responsible the policy of political appeasement for such deadly attacks and said the country now needs an effective law to deal with the problem.
On September 7, the MP's convoy was attacked in Azamgarh district, in which he was left unhurt.
