MP: 3 killed, 26 injured in road mishaps
Badwani (MP), Sep 17: Three people were killed and 26 injured in two different accidents in the last 24 hours on Agra-Mumbai national highway in this district, police said today.
A man was killed and 17 people were injured when a jeep boarded by them collided head-on with a truck in this district's Thikari area early today.
The accident took place near Khurmura village. The injured were rushed to hospital.
Warla-resident Champalal Yadav (18) succumbed to his injuries today.
In yesterday's mishap in which a jeep dashed against a tree on Agra-Mumbai highway near Segawal area , the death toll rose to two with Rajpur-resident Swapnesh Gupta (22) succumbing to his injuries.
A youth was killed on the spot and nine people were injured in the incident.
