12 feared drowned in Muzaffarpur
Muzaffarpur, Sep 17 (UNI) At least 12 people were feared drowned when a boat carrying them capsized in Gandak river in the district today.
Police said the incident took place when the boat carrying them was caught in turbulent current near Athar Ghat under Musri police station.
One body was recovered, while divers had been pressed into service to trace others, police said adding senior officers of the district administration were camping at the spot to monitor the rescue and relief operation.
