Srinagar, Sep 16 (UNI) Jammu and Kashmir government has ordered an inquiry into the death of a youth, killed in security force firing during ''pro-freedom'' demonstrations at Shopian, where curfew was lifted today.

An official spokesman said the Deputy Commissioner, Shopian, has appointed Additional Deputy Commissioner Pulwama as an inquiry officer to probe the killing of Sajad Ahmad Ganie.

Sajad was killed in security forces firing during demonstrations at Shopian on Friday evening.

Later, authorities imposed curfew in the town.
