'Infy to decide after land allotment in WB'
Bangalore, Sep 16: Infosys Technologies on Tuesday, Sep 16 said it will take a decision on its investment plans in West Bengal after the government allots land to the firm.

told
reporters
here
today.
"We
have
not
got
the
land,
so
it
is
difficult
for
us
to
comment",
he
said
when
asked
about
the
investment
plans.
Murthy's
comments
come
a
few
days
after
company
HR
chief
and
Member
of
Board
T
V
Mohandas
Pai's
remarks
that
it
would
reconsider
its
plans
in
West
Bengal
if
needed.
Reacting to the Singur developments Pai said on September 8, "Singur has created fear in the minds of India Inc. We are watching the development very closely. We will rethink and reconsider the situation if need be".
Infosys had signed a Memorandum of Understanding for acquiring land three months back. The company was looking at 99 acres of land in the state, he said but refused to divulge the location. The board would hold a meeting and take a decision, he said.
