Heavy rains likely to occur in Thane, Raigad, Ratnagiri

Pune, Sep 16 (UNI) Heavy to very heavy rains are likely to occur at isolated places in the districts of Thane, Raigad, Ratnagiri, Sindhudurg and Ghat areas during the next 24 hours.

Heavy rains are likely to occur at isolated places in Goa state during the same period.

Moderate to rather heavy rains are likely to occur at many places over all the districts of Konkan, Goa and Ghat areas. Moderate rains are likely to occur at a few places over all the districts of Madhya Maharashtra and light to moderate rains is likely to occur at a few places over all the districts of Marathwada, according to weather forecast for Maharashtra, excluding Vidarbha and Goa.
