Four died after consuming prasad in Bihar

Ara, Sep 16: Altogether four people, including three minors, died and two others were taken seriously ill after consuming prasad--food served after puja-- at Soniyan village under Shahpur block in Bhojpur district last night.

Official sources said here today that Kheera Jhahri (32), wife of one Manik Yadav died along with her two kids, Rahul (2) and Gudia (6) after consuming the prasad.

Pinki Kumari (2) daughter of one Prabhu Yadav had also consumed the prasad and died at the sadar hospital during treatment.

While a daughter of Kheera Jhari and wife of Prabhu Yadav were struggling for life at the hospital, sources added.

The victims had attended a special puja offered during the full moon night at the house of one Dinesh Yadav and consumed prasad there, sources informed.
