Dimapur GBs to organise peace march

Kohima, Sep 16 (UNI) The Dimapur District Gaon Burah Association has decided to take out a peace march on Friday in protest against the killing of two of their colleagues by suspected militants.

A press release issued here today by DDGBA president M Y Ngullie said the peace march will start at 0900 hours from the office of the Association, which will proceed to the office of the Dimapur Deputy Commissioner, demanding arrests of the culprits who had killed two innocent Gaon Burahs of Dimapur town this year.

The Nagaland GB Federation had called for a 12-hour statewide bandh on September 10 on the same issue, but it was called off.
