Dhumal reviews development plan for Baba Balak Nath Temple
Hamirpur, Sep 16 (UNI) Himachal Pradesh Chief Minister Prem Kumar Dhumal reviewed the Baba Balak Nath Temple Development Plan in a meeting held with officers of Hamirpur district at Deot Siddh today.
"There is a vast potential for religious tourism in the state and Baba Balak Nath temple is one of the prominent shrines visited by devotees from different parts of the country and abroad as well, he said.
"With the implementation of development plan for the temple, proper security arrangement for devotees entering the main temple area would be ensured, which would be more convenient for the devotees to offer prayers," he said.
The State Government is taking all precautions to regulate devotees and maintain security in all prominent shrines of the state, he said.
The Baba Balak Nath Temple Trust Authorities presented a draft of Rs 21 lakh to the Chief Minister as a contribution towards Chief Minister's Relief Fund.
