CM asks varsity officials to solve students' issues
Pulivendula, Andhra Pradesh, Sep 16 (UNI) Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Y S Rajasekhara Reddy today directed the officials of the Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University (JNTU) here to solve the problems of the students at the university.
Inaugurating new blocks in the college, he said even small problems that arouse in the college at Pulivendula, his home constituency, would fetch a bad name to him. It was necessary to hold monthly meetings in the college to solve the problems faced by the students, he added.
He laid the foundation stone for Rs 13.8 lakh Acharya NG Ranga Agriculture University's Food, Science and Technologies Institute and also for the Northern Institute for Integrated Learning and Management Institute to be built at a cost of Rs 100 crore.
The Chief Minister distributed the ex-gratia amount for the families of those who lost their lives in a bus accident at Papurghat village on Kadapa-Nellore border last week.
