Shrimp seed centre soon in Srikakulam

Srikakulam, Sep 15 (UNI) A shrimp seed multiplication centre would be set up in Seikakulam district soon to produce pathogen free seeds.

According to the Agricultural Official Sources here, the Hong Kong based M/s Moana Technologies would provide the technology that would facilitate genetically imported shrimp and produce three billion post larvae at full capacity in three years. This was expected to bring in a new approach to quality seed management, enhanced productivity and profitability in the Indian agriculture.
