North Zone CBSE TT meet from Sept 18
Chandigarh, Sep 15 (UNI) The Banyan Tree School of Sector 48 will conduct the North Zone Central Board of Secondary Education (Cluster 13) Table Tennis Tournament for boys and girls at Sector 23 Table Tennis Hall here from Septmber 18 to 20.
More than 16 schools of the region would compete for the top honours in the boys and girls sections, BTS Director Ravinder Talwar said. Competitions would be held for boys and girls under-14, under-16 and under-19.
Schools of Chandigarh, Mohali and Ropar districts, Panchkula and Ambala districts, Himachal Pradesh and Jammu and Kashmir will be seen in action in the three-day tournament.
Joint Secretary-cum-Regional Officer, Panchkula, of Central Secondary Education Board, DR Yadav, will inaugurate the meet. CBSE has appointed Chandigarh Table Tennis Association secretary Patanjali Kumar as observer.
