Logica launches Mobility Innovation Centre in city

Bangalore, Sep 15 (UNI) Logica today launched its second 'Spark Innovation Centre' which focuses on mobility solutions of future in intelligent transportation, wireless monitoring of vehicle emissions, dynamic vehicle insurance and targeted interactive advertising solutions.

The Centre, inaugurated here by Logica Chief Executive Andy Green would demonstrate to customers the company's innovative abilities and solutions, according to a release here.

The first Centre was launched in May 2008 in Lisbon around the theme of Energy and Utilities. A third innovation centre will shortly be launched in Amstelveen and will focus on 'payments' with more Centres planned in the months ahead.

The Spark Centres enabled Logica to showcase its capabilities in identifying white spaces for innovation and the ability to develop technologies and solutions to address them. Logica then partners with customers to build collaborative and innovative solutions based on business needs of today and tomorrow. In addition to working with customers, Logica will work with renowned Universities around the globe to complete the collaboration cycle between industry and academia.

Mr Andy Green said Logica facilitates the process in partnership with customers. Mobility solutions were increasingly important and the need of the hour was focus area for the industries, he added.

He said innovation in thinking, solutions and partnerships will ensure that our customers build and maintain a competitive advantage.
