HMDA makes arrangements to remove debris from Hussain sagar

Hyderbad, Sept 15 (UNI) The Hyderabad Metropolitan Development Authority (HMDA) has initiated measures to remove the debris from Hussain Sagar lake after the compeltion of the Ganesh Idol immersion today.

According to official sources, the HMDA has enganged 4000 workers to remove the debris and the special drive of removal of material would continue till September 17.

The "Buddha Purnima" Project of HMDA had been attending to the activity of cleaning of Hussain Sagar shore since September seven.

An amount of Rs.8 lakhs had been proposed to be spent for the removal of debris for which 150 truks and eight cranes would be utilised.
