Hizb north District Commander arrested by police in Kashmir
Srinagar Sep 15 (UNI) Jammu and Kashmir police claimed to have arrested district commander of Hizbul Mujahideen during a raid at Handwara in north Kashmir today.
Police said the District Commander identified as Mohd Yousuf Ganie alias Moulvi alias Babber, a resident of Dooru Sopore, nabbed during a raid at Zaingeer Unisoo Handwara in frontier Kashmir district of Kupwara.
Yousuf a PoK trained militant was active in the valley since 2001.
Two Chinese grenades were recovered from his possession, the police said and added a Case has been registered in this regard.
